2015 Runoff Election

NJSBA 2015 Runoff Election

Candidates appear in ballot order

Kimberly A. Yonta
(Nominated by Nominating Committee)

Fruqan Mouzon
(Nominated by petition)

In the coming weeks, New Jersey State Bar Association members will vote on who will be the next secretary in a runoff election.
On the ballot will be association trustees Kimberly A. Yonta and Fruqan Mouzon.
The Nominating Committee selected Yonta when it released its slate of candidates in February. Mouzon is seeking the office by petition, and as such submitted a petition containing at least 250 signatures of general members, as per the association’s bylaws.

Intelliscan Inc., which administered the recent election for secretary, reported the results of the voting, which ran from April 13 to May 4. Click here to read the results. Since no single candidate received more than 50 percent of the votes, the runoff election will be between the two highest vote getters, as per the association’s bylaws.
