State Bar President to Help Swear in New Attorneys in Trenton

Trenton – New Jersey State Bar Association President Allen A. Etish will take part in a ceremony to swear in new lawyers.

The New Jersey Supreme Court and the state’s Federal District Court co-host the ceremony in the Patriots' Theater at the Trenton War Memorial on Monday, June 1, at 10 a.m.

Chief Justice Stuart Rabner will make opening remarks and then Etish will move the admission of the new attorneys to the Bar of the State of New Jersey. Etish will also address the assembled dignitaries, new lawyers and their families.

Presiding Federal Court Judge Jerome B. Simandle will grant a Motion of Admittance to the Bar of the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, made by Ronny J.G. Siegal, president-elect of the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey.

Melville D. Miller Jr., president of Legal Services of New Jersey, will also deliver remarks.

The New Jersey State Bar Association is dedicated to the continuing education of lawyers and the public and to reforming and improving the legal system. It encourages involvement in voluntary pro bono activities and supports the fair administration of justice. Incorporated in 1899, it is the state’s largest lawyers group.
