Arthur H. Kravitz Receives Distinguished Legislative Service Award

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Arthur H. Kravitz received the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) Distinguished Legislative Service Award at the Association’s Board of Trustees Meeting and Holiday Luncheon on December 12, 2008 at the New Jersey Law Center. He is an attorney with the Princeton law firm of Stark & Stark.

The award recognizes Mr. Kravitz for his efforts on behalf of the NJSBA in getting a package of six workers’ compensation bills signed into law.

An NJSBA member since 1982, Mr. Kravitz is the chair of the Workers’ Compensation Law Section. In addition, he is a member of the Mercer County Bar Association, New Jersey Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and is Senior Vice President of the New Jersey Advisory Council on Safety and Health, Public Affairs.

A Hofstra University School of Law graduate, Mr. Kravitz has over 20 years of experience as a workers’ compensation attorney practicing in both the Workers’ Compensation Court and the New Jersey Appellate Court. He is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Workers’ Compensation Attorney and has lectured extensively on the rights of injured workers in both the private and public sector. In addition, he has co-authored several manual in these areas.

The New Jersey State Bar Association incorporated in 1899 is dedicated to the continuing education of lawyers and the public, to reforming and improving the legal system, to encouraging participation in voluntary pro bono activities and to aiding in the administration of justice.
