Mark B. Zirulnik Receives Distinguished Legislative Service Award

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Mark B. Zirulnik received the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) Distinguished Legislative Service Award at the Association’s Board of Trustees Meeting and Holiday Luncheon on December 12, 2008 at the New Jersey Law Center. He is a Scotch Plains resident and attorney with the East Hanover law firm of Romando Tucker Zirulnik & Sherlock.

The award recognizes Mr. Zirulnik for his efforts on behalf of the NJSBA in getting a package of six workers’ compensation bills signed into law.

An NJSBA member since 1981, Mr. Zirulnik is currently the secretary of the Workers’ Compensation Law Section. In addition, he is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Inns of Court.

A Rutgers University School of Law graduate, Mr. Zirulnik is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York and before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court of New Jersey.

The New Jersey State Bar Association incorporated in 1899 is dedicated to the continuing education of lawyers and the public, to reforming and improving the legal system, to encouraging participation in voluntary pro bono activities and to aiding in the administration of justice.
