Barry D. Szaferman Re-Appointed Mercer County Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Barry D. Szaferman, managing partner in the Lawrenceville law firm of Szaferman Lakind Blumstein Watter Bladder & Lehman, was re-appointed to a two-year term on the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board of Trustees. He was sworn in at the NJSBA’s Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City on May 22.

An NJSBA member since 1986, Mr. Szaferman was first appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2006, and is a member of the Family Law Section. He is a former president of both the Mercer County Bar Association and the Mercer County Bar Foundation, and currently serves on the Mercer County Bar Association’s Board of Trustees.

In 2001, Mr. Szaferman was recognized with a Professional Lawyer of the Year Award from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law. He also served as a Blue Ribbon Panelist on the Mercer County Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel.

A Rutgers Law School graduate, Mr. Szaferman’s concentrates on complex family law and business law matters.
