John G. DeSimone Re-Appointed Gloucester County Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Woodbury attorney John G. DeSimone was re-appointed to a two-year term on the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board of Trustees. He was sworn in at the NJSBA’s Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City on May 22.
An NJSBA member since 2005, Mr. DeSimone was first appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2006. He is a former president of the Gloucester County Bar Association and currently serves on its Board of Trustees.
A Widener University School of Law graduate, Mr. DeSimone maintains a general practice concentrating in estate administration, transactional work, probate, personal injury and products liability litigation. Formerly, Mr. DeSimone was General Manager for Hyatt Hotels Corporation headquartered in Chicago and was responsible for the day-to-day operation of three hotels. In addition, he has held adjunct professorships at Widener University School of Hospitality Management, Cumberland County College School of Business and Camden County College, and is the author of Aging of Management Staff Gives Rise to New Considerations, which was published in Hospitality Law, Vol. 11, No. 9, in September, 1996.
Active in his community, Mr. DeSimone is a Chairman of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church Finance Committee and a certified referee for high school lacrosse.
