Peter F. Weiss Re-Appointed Passaic County Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Wayne attorney, Peter F. Weiss was re-appointed to a two-year term on the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board of Trustees. He was sworn in at the NJSBA’s Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City on May 22.
An NJSBA member since 1990, Mr. Weiss was first appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2006. A member of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section, he is also a member of several committees including the Ad Hoc Committee on Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), which was formed in 2007 to study MCLE and make recommendations to the New Jersey Supreme Court study panel.
Mr. Weiss is a former president of the Passaic County Bar Association and currently serves on its Board of Trustees. Additionally, he also previously served as chair of the Passaic County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, Court Orientation Committee, and Social and Program Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
A Dickinson School of Law of Penn State University graduate, Mr. Weiss is a partner at Weiss Law Offices and is a municipal judge for the Township of Wayne.
