State Bar Executive Director Harold Rubenstein Resigns After 12 Year of Service
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Harold Rubenstein has resigned as Executive Director of the New Jersey State Bar Association effective September 21, 2007. He resigned to pursue other opportunities.
Mr. Rubenstein has had a productive term of service as Executive Director including fostering stronger relations with the Judiciary and the other branches of government, working with Bar leadership to advance various initiatives of importance to the legal community, and overseeing the NJSBA through significant enhancements to its technological and communications capabilities in an effort to better serve the members. Mr. Rubenstein said he is grateful to the many Boards of Trustees and Executive Committees under whom he served for the opportunity to assist the organized bar and the wider legal community.
Charles Hollenbeck, currently the Director of the NJ Commission on Professionalism in the Law, will serve as Acting Executive Director. President Lynn Fontaine Newsome will appoint a search committee assigned the task of finding a new Executive Director for the NJSBA.
