Miles S. Winder III Re-Appointed Trustee to New Jersey State Bar Association
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Miles S. Winder III, a Bernardsville resident and attorney, was re-appointed to a two-year term on the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board of Trustees. He was sworn in at the NJSBA’s Annual Meeting in Atlantic City, May 16-18.
An NJSBA member since 1972, Mr. Winder was first appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2003. He is a former chair of the NJSBA Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and currently serves on the section’s Board of Consultors. Mr. Winder is a past president and current trustee of the Somerset County Bar Association and is a member of the Colorado, Florida and American Bar (ABA) associations. In addition, Mr. Winder is the President of the Somerset County Bar Foundation. He also is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, NJ.
Mr. Winder was a member of the New Jersey Death Penalty Study Commission.
Mr. Winder is a former chair of both the District XIII Fee Arbitration and Ethics committees. He serves as a special master for complex ethics matters for the New Jersey Supreme Court and is a counselor to the Joseph Halpern Inn of Court.
Mr. Winder practices estate litigation, estate planning and administration, contracts, real estate and commercial law. His received his law degree from the University of Denver.
The New Jersey State Bar Association, incorporated in 1899, is dedicated to the continuing education of lawyers and the public, to reforming and improving the legal system and to aiding in the administration of justice.
