Lora L. Fong Named At-Large Trustee

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ-Woodbridge attorney Lora L. Fong was installed as an At-Large Trustee to the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) at the organization’s Annual Meeting on May 18 in Bally’s Atlantic City. The 45-member Board of Trustees manages the affairs and operation of the association.

A member of the NJSBA since 1993, Ms. Fong is a co-chair of the association’s Diversity Committee and a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation and Computer & Internet Law Committees. She was honored with a Professional Lawyer of the Year Award in 2004 from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law.

A former president of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA/NJ), Ms. Fong continues to serve on APALA/NJ’s Advisory Board. She holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Middlesex County Bar Association and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. For the New Jersey Supreme Court, she has served on the Committee on Character and currently serves on the Committee on Women in the Courts.

Ms. Fong is Counsel to Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis, LLP in Woodbridge where, as a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and Technology Practice Group, she represents clients in matters relating to trademark, copyright, technology and computer law; and commercial contracts, civil fraud and business torts. She was formerly Associate General Counsel for North America to Fujitsu Consulting Inc.

A graduate of Douglass College, Ms. Fong earned her law degree from Rutgers School of Law – Newark.
