Law Office Management Benefits for NJSBA Members

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The New Jersey State Bar Association website,, is the online resource for our members on critical issues facing the bar, breaking news and developments, membership benefits, the meetings calendar and online registration process, materials for professional development, NJSBA publications, networking via NJSBA section online communities, contacts for staff departments and descriptions, and much more at the click of a mouse.

It is one of the best places to find out what the NJSBA is doing—from its home page notices, to Board of Trustee summaries compiled under NJSBA Reports. It’s where New Jersey Lawyer Magazine is accessible online to NJSBA members. Nonmembers can purchase articles and/or magazines for a fee, but article previews are a members-only feature. It’s where employers and employees can use the Legal Career Center as a recruiting resource. It’s where to find the latest information and online registration for Annual Meeting 2005 and the April 21 “Becoming a Rainmaker” seminar. The rainmaking seminar also provides 2.0 NY practice management credits through the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE).

The NJSBA website is updated on a regular basis to help keep our members informed and to provide current, instructive, easy-to-use resources and a mechanism for effective communication.

NJSBA members must log in with their ID number and password for access to all portions of the website. The site provides a 24/7-password recall feature for those forgotten NJSBA passwords. The NJSBA initiated a new log in procedure that requires members to change their password from the automatic default. When updating the password, be sure to provide a question and answer. To use the 24/7-password recall, after selecting the Member Login button, enter the NJSBA ID number and select “Forgot Your Password? Click Here.” The prompt will ask for the NJSBA ID number, e-mail address and the answer to the question. You can also call the NJSBA if you need assistance with your password at 732-249-5000 during regular business hours.
