On Tuesday, October 4 at the Pines Manor in Edison, Carl D. Poplar of Cherry Hill will receive the Daniel J’ O’Hern Award from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law at the Commission’s annual awards luncheon. The award recognizes longstanding commitment to the highest ideals of the profession, as well as career achievement and service to the bar and community. Carl Poplar has practiced law for forty years and is recognized among the finest trial lawyers in the state. Assignment Judge Linda Feinberg, the Chair of the Commission, describes Carl as “a true professional of outstanding character who has fought zealously for his clients while observing the highest professional standards. He certainly deserves to be recognized by his peers.”

The awards luncheon will also feature the presentation of Professional Lawyer of the Year awards to lawyers selected by county and specialty bar associations. The keynote speaker at the event will be former Chief Justice Deborah T. Poritz.
