Several vie for trustee post in State Bar Association
Several veteran lawyers declared their intention to run for trustee spots made available when two board members received new positions – one to the state Superior Court bench and another will become secretary of the association in May. Terms for both seats would be from time of nomination until next May.
Stephen W. Barry is seeking to fill the available seat for a trustee to represent Cape May County, to replace J. Christopher Gibson, who is now a state Superior Court judge.
The others are seeking a seat that is designated is for a representative of a state bar association section or committee. Thomas Hoff Prol had filled the seat. He will be sworn-in as state bar secretary at the Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City in May.
The candidates who declared their intention to serve as a section or committee representative on the board are:

All candidates must submit a questionnaire by noon, April 20.
The Nominating Committee will convene next month to evaluate the candidates and select a slate to fill the seats.
