State Bar President to Help Swear in New Attorneys in Trention
Trenton – New Jersey State Bar Association President Richard H. Steen will take part in a ceremony to swear in new lawyers.
The New Jersey Supreme Court and the state’s Federal District Court co-host the ceremony in the Patriots' Theater at the Trenton War Memorial on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m.
Chief Justice Stuart Rabner will make opening remarks and then Steen will move the admission of the new attorneys to the Bar of the State of New Jersey. Steen will also address the assembled dignitaries, new lawyers and their families.
Chief Federal Court Judge Garrett E. Brown Jr. will grant a Motion of Admittance to the Bar of the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, made by John P. Lacey, president of the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey.
Justice Roberto Rivera-Soto and Melville D. Miller Jr., president of Legal Services of New Jersey, are expected to deliver remarks.
The New Jersey State Bar Association is dedicated to the continuing education of lawyers and the public and to reforming and improving the legal system.
