| International Law & Organizations Section |
Welcome
The International Law and Organizations Section provides opportunities for practitioners to explore broad and diverse topics and practice issues in public and private international law. Membership in the Section offers exposure to real-world issues in human rights, international economic law, transnational commercial law, dispute resolution, global governance, trade regulation and global justice. As the newly elected Chair and Secretary of the Section, we encourage members of the Bar who have an interest in broadening and sharing their international experience to become members of the Section. In the coming year, the Section will hold meetings and programs we believe will be of great interest to members.
We intend to produce a Section newsletter and to explore publishing a revised edition of the Section’s 1991 book entitled New Jersey: A Basic Legal Guide for Foreign Businesses, which served as an international law resource for foreign nationals and foreign businesses who were conducting business or contemplating doing business in New Jersey.
Jim and I welcome the opportunity to work with current and new members to further develop the Section’s resources in international law. We look forward to meeting you at a future meeting.
