Women Trailblazers in the Law

At the NJSBA Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City on May 20, the Women in the Profession Section presented an electric and stimulating presentation of Women Trailblazers in the Law. The panelists included: Justice Jaynee LaVecchia, Judge Patricia Costello, former NJSBA Presidents Cynthia Jacob, Peggy Sheahan Knee, Lynn Fontaine Newsome and Karol Corbin Walker, and NJSBA President-Elect Susan Feeney. The seminar was moderated by WIPS Chair Kimberly Yonta Aronow. The Panelists spoke about their experiences in the profession with comments about practice “then” and “now,” that lent itself to a colorful dialogue of give and take between the panelists and the audience.
