FAR HILLS RACE MEETING & TAILGATE PARTY
50 YLD members and invited guests joined over 40,000 racing enthusiasts on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Moorland Farms in Far Hills, NJ to watch the races and tailgate. The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all!
This event was co-sponsored by the Young Lawyers Sub-Committee of the NJSBA Family Law Section.

2008 ANNUAL SUMMER ASSOCIATES PROGRAM
Approximately 85 summer associates, law clerks, interns and students attended the YLD’s Annual Summer Associates Program on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick, NJ.
The program was intended to introduce students to the practice of law in the State of New Jersey and focused on various topics that pertain to and are of interest to young lawyers and law students.
A diverse panel of speakers included NJSBA President Peggy Sheahan Knee and several prominent attorneys from both the public and private sector: Richard J. Badolato, Dennis A. Estis, Michael A. Hackett, Desha L. Jackson and Paul V. Mullin.

Dear Law Student Member - Allow me this opportunity to tell you a little about the New Jersey State Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (NJSBA-YLD), the largest section of the NJSBA. The YLD is open to all NJSBA members under 36 years old or admitted to the practice for five years or less. Our meetings and events include programming to serve your needs and address a variety of practice areas and interest.
