2012 Black History Month Celebration

BLACK HISTORY MONTH TRIVIA CONTEST

The NJSBA Minorities in the Profession Section invited all New Jersey high school students to participate in a 2012 Black History Month Essay Contest. Students were asked to submit an original essay answering the question “Is the celebration of Black History Month still relevant or necessary in society today? Why or why not?” Based on their essays, the top five finalists have been invited to compete in a trivia contest during the Black History Month Reception at the New Jersey Law Center on Thursday, February 23 at 6 p.m. If any of the finalist are unable to compete, the runners-up will be invited to compete in their place starting with the first runner-up.
