What Lawyers Today Can Learn from Lyndon B. Johnson’s Presidency – Perspective from Special Counsel to the President
Larry Temple is the Chairman of the Lyndon B. Johnson Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the LBJ Presidential Library and the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin.  Mr. Temple also served as Special Counsel to President Johnson during his presidency.  Join us as Mr. Temple discusses President Johnson’s life in office, including his achievements in the area of civil rights, Mr. Temple’s role as Special Counsel, and what Johnson’s legacy can teach us about being better lawyers.

Initial Alimony Awards
At present, there are a number of bills pending which could, potentially, change alimony as we know it.  A panel of attorneys will be discussing the different pending bills.  We will then have an interactive discussion of the different outcomes for various scenarios.  Also, we will be joined by two matrimonial attorneys from Texas, who will explain alimony in Texas.
